At DXM Event Management, we’ve had a fantastic start to the year, and as the first three months of 2023 have passed, we’ve already hosted a range of successful events for our clients.
As a result, we thought we’d use this as an opportunity to look back and reminisce as Q1 has come to a close.
Medstrom Webinars
We’ve worked closely with Medstrom since 2021 and have already helped them organise two webinars in 2023!
Each webinar was 1.5 hours long, with approximately 100-120 people in attendance, meaning that it was crucial that everything ran smoothly. Not only did we ensure that attendance and registration were carefully monitored, but we also provided our expert support throughout the day, whether that meant consulting with speakers and confirming their scripts ahead of time to general tech support.
We also gathered and set up the presentations on the platform and produced backup recordings with speakers in the event of technical issues so that the event was able to proceed without a hitch.
A 2-day, B2B conference in Barcelona for Gamesforum
The Gamesforum annual conference in Barcelona was our first in-person event of the year, and it was great to see people connect face-to-face once again as opposed to behind a screen.
Our team supported GamesForum, by managing the registration throughout the two days, producing the Ramses ecological badges, keeping an attendee list updated, producing an attendance report post-event, and managing the smooth people flow and venue coordination on-site at any given time. This allowed the Gamesforum team to focus on an engaging programme and enhance the networking of their sponsors, exhibitors, and delegates throughout the 2-day conference.
Registration Services for Airspace World Event In Geneva
We supported the registration planning and delivery services for the Inaugural Airspace World event which is considered the ‘largest and most influential airspace and near-space management event in the world’.
We worked pre-event in tandem with the internal teams and Directors, which led to a smooth experience in Geneva - and great attendance overall. Looking forward to 2024!
Registration Services @MWC23
In February 2023, our own Kostia managed the complex and large-scale registration services for MWC23 (Mobile World Congress 2023). This is the ‘largest and most influential connectivity event’ of its kind, which presents a series of challenges when it comes to event registration.
Kostia supported the team when it came to registering attendance for exhibiting staff and crew, to ensure the smooth attendance of 500 pax.
Conference for the University of Greenwich
We partnered with the University of Greenwich to help with the project management for the University Mental Health Day event on the 9th of March. Our main responsibility during this time was to liaise with internal stakeholders, gather relevant resources, engage contributors, and produce a full-day agenda for the hybrid event.
We also produced online the Keynote with high-profile internal and external speakers, which was attended by approximately 200 pax on the same day, while also coordinating the creation of a dedicated event webpage. This helped participation, both online and in-person, stay on track with the various events and speeches and increased engagement considerably. It also provided them with access to valuable mental health resources - the very purpose of the event.
2 x online events on Cvent Studio
So far in 2023, we’ve produced two online events using Cvent Studio for our clients. This platform enables us to take virtual events to the next level, by utilising the TV-like production tools and functions to record or present live the clients’ events. We ensure that some editing is also offered so the final product can be easily repurposed by their marketing team. The platform can be easily used for speaker briefings and event rehearsal catering to audiences of upwards of 1000 pax.
